Summer Season 26/27 - Registrations Open

We’re excited to share that registrations for the Comets Summer Season are now open!

Game On / Fair Play Vouchers

To use a voucher, please follow these steps:

Register and pay with CH Comets as normal via the link above.
When completing your Fair Play voucher application, select Eastside as the association.
Email ben.gray@eastsidebasketball.com.au and CC camp.hill.comets.bball@gmail.com.
Eastside will process and collect the grant.
Once received, Comets will refund the $200 back to you (we’ll just need your bank details to reimburse you).

Age Group Allocation & Playing Up

When you register, the system will automatically place your child into an age group based on their date of birth. If you’ve already spoken with Matt Gellweiler (Comets President) about your child playing up, we can adjust this on our end after registration.

To complete the registration, please accept the age group you’re allocated, we’ll sort any agreed changes in the backend.

If your child is planning to play in two age groups, Matt will also contact you directly with instructions on how to register. Please wait for his guidance before proceeding.

U12 Registrations

Please note that U12 registrations are not yet open. We’ll share more information soon once numbers are confirmed.

We’ve had great interest, but we do need more U12 players, so if your child has friends who may be keen, please pass on the EOI. We’d love to welcome them!

Alternatively, your basketballer may be comfortable playing U14. If that’s something you’d like to explore, please reach out and we can discuss options.

Comets Summer Season EOI Now Live!

Whether you’re staying on with the Comets or joining us for the first time, it’s time to gear up for our 2026 Summer Season!

EOI is now open and we’re ready to start planning. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Comets crew, let’s make this season our biggest yet!

Winter Season Commences

Winter Season is here! Grading games start Wednesday 29 April for U16 and Friday 1st May for U14.

All parents or guardians should now have access to their teams Heja. If not, please email camp.hill.comets.bball@gmail.com
Uniforms are available for purchase. Visit the 'online shop' tab. If you have already placed an order, these are now available for collection from Camp Hill or training. You will receive an email with further details.
Training officially starts Monday 27 April (there was a casual session held on Monday 20 April, but don't worry if you missed out)
As well as Heja, make sure you download the Basketball QLD app and add your team. If you need help with this, post your question on Heja or come chat to any of the Comets parents at the games

2026 Winter Season - Expression of Interest

Planning for the Comets 2026 Winter season is already underway - Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open.

If your basketballer is keen to continue their journey with the Comets, or join for the first time, completing the EOI helps us prepare for trials, team selections, coaches, uniforms, training schedules, and court allocations.

Please note: completing an EOI is not a registration and carries no commitment. It simply gives us a clear picture of numbers so we can be ready to support every Comets player next season. By providing your email address, you’ll also receive important updates as the season approaches.

While our planning for future seasons is in motion, our focus remains firmly on supporting our Comets throughout the current season, ensuring every player has the best possible experience on and off the court.
